Government Publications Have Moved

York's government collections have moved to the Scott Library from the former Business and Government Publications Library in the old Schulich School of Business building (just south of the Scott Library).

Materials are located in three different areas of the Scott Library, all of which are clearly indicated in the library catalogue and organized by the York University government call number system.

  • The government reference collection is located on the second floor and includes finding aids, governance documents and Statistics Canada publications;
  • The general government collection is located on the third floor and includes periodicals and circulating materials;
  • The government microtext collection is located on the main floor in Room 118.

Most new government publications will be classified using the Library of Congress classification system and shelved alongside existing Scott Library collections.

Need assistance in finding government publications?

Ask at the Scott Reference Desk or contact York's Government Information librarian Amanda Wakaruk at awakaruk@yorku.ca.
