Coming Soon: New Class List Application

A new Class List application is coming October 1, 2003. While there is a new look and feel to the application and some new features, all of the current functionality has been maintained.

But the best advantage of the new application is that it runs directly from the SIS database. This means that you will have access to the most current enrolment information for all your courses — class lists will show accurate lists of registered students and updated numbers of registrants, with no waiting for updated lists to be generated.

Note:

The name of the instructor for each meeting group (Lecture, Tutorial, etc.) must be entered in the COS module in order for the information to be properly loaded and retrieved in this new application.

Access the Class List application from the CNS website: http://apps.yorku.ca, or from the SIS website at https://www.sis.yorku.ca.

A future improvement: the new Class List application will be enhanced to allow instructors to enter grades directly into SIS using the class lists! This enhancement is planned for introduction during 2004.
