Services for Library Users with Disabilities

The York University Library staff is committed to provide access to users with disabilities. Do you need to know more about disability services offered by the Libraries? Find out by clicking the More… link under Services on the library homepage, then Users with Disabilities. Here you can check on physical access to the various libraries and facilitated services for users with special needs, including our adaptive equipment room, library computers, transcription services and facilitated services.

The Libraries also offer reference assistance for users with special needs, both online using the Ask a Librarian virtual reference service, or you can make an appointment with a reference librarian by contacting Tina McColl (see below).

And remember, we can better assist users with disabilities if their specific needs are known to us.

For more information and assistance, contact Tina McColl, Coordinator of Library Services to Persons with Special Needs, Scott Circulation at (416)736-2100 ext. 88877 or tmccoll@yorku.ca.
