JSTOR Plant Science
JSTOR Plant Science is an online environment that brings together content, tools, and people interested in plant science. It provides access to foundational content including plant type specimens, taxonomic structures, scientific literature, and related materials.
Chemistry
Patai’s Chemistry of Functional Groups
Patai covers all aspects of the chemistry of functional groups including physical organic chemistry, analytical chemistry and techniques, reaction mechanisms, chapters on synthetic pathways, reactions and strategies as well as applications in drug discovery, pharmaceuticals, biochemistry and molecular biology.
Reaxys
Reaxys is a unique web-based chemistry database consisting of deeply excerpted compounds and related factual properties, reaction and synthesis information as well as bibliographic data, navigated and displayed via an actionable interface.
Engineering
Spie Digital Library

The SPIE Digital Library consists of more than 270,000 articles in the field of optics and photonics including Astronomy and Astronomical Optics, Biomedical Optics and Imaging, Communication and Information Technologies, Defense and Industrial Sensing, Electronic Imaging and Processing, Micro- and Nano-technologies, Optics and Electro-Optics.

Dictionary of Irish Biography Online
The Dictionary of Irish Biography Online, a collaborative project between Cambridge University Press and the Royal Irish Academy, contains 9,014 signed biographical articles which describe and assess the careers of subjects in all fields of endeavour, including politics, law, religion, literature, journalism, architecture, painting, music, the stage, science, medicine, engineering, entertainment and sport.
GIS
Simply Map
SimplyMap is an online mapping application that enables users to create thematic maps and reports using demographic, business and marketing data. Content and features include nationwide data for all Canadian geographies including provinces, census divisions, and census subdivisions; over 1.1 million Canadian businesses; and the ability to export shape files and data as a .SHP file that can be exported into advanced Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
History
African-American Newspapers, 1827-1998
Readex’s African American Newspapers, 1827-1998 provides online access to approximately 270 U.S. newspapers chronicling a century and a half of the African-American experience. This collection features papers from more than 35 states—including many 19th century titles. As part of the Readex America’s Historical Newspapers collection, African American Newspapers, 1827-1998 was created from various African-American newspaper archives in the United States— including those of the Wisconsin Historical Society, Kansas State Historical Society and the Library of Congress.
Confidential Print: Middle East, 1839-1969
Confidential Print: Middle East, 1839-1969 is the second in Adam Matthew Digital’s online series of ‘Confidential Print’ documents issued by the United Kingdom Foreign and Colonial Office since about 1820. From the Egyptian reforms of Muhammad Ali Pasha in the 19th century, the Middle East Conference of 1921, the Mandates for Palestine and Mesopotamia and the Suez Crisis in 1956, to the partitioning of Palestine, post-Suez Western foreign policy and the Arab-Israeli conflict, these historical documents help to inform the volatile situation in the region today.

Latin American Newspapers provides more than 35 fully searchable Latin American newspapers published in the 19th and 20th centuries. Featuring titles from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela and elsewhere, Latin American Newspapers covers the people, issues and events that shaped this region between 1805 and 1922. Latin American Newspapers features such publications as La Nacion, La Prensa and Vanguardia (Buenos Aires), Correio da Manha and Jornal do Commercio (Rio de Janeiro), O Estado de São Paulo (São Paulo), Mercurio (Santiago), La Prensa (Havana), El Guatemalteco (Guatemala City), Daily Chronicle (Georgetown, Guyana), La Revista de Yucatan (Merida, Mexico), La Patria, Mexican Herald and El Monitor Republicano (Mexico City), El Dictamen (Veracruz Llave, Mexico), La Estrella de Panama and Star & Herald (Panama City), El Peruano and West Coast Leader (Lima), Port of Spain Gazette (Port of Spain), the Venezuelan Herald (Caracas) and more than a dozen others.
19th Century UK Periodicals
19th Century UK Periodicals covers all aspects of British life in the 19th century—from art to business and from children to politics. Nearly 600 periodicals capture the change and growth during this period, a time of massive social and industrial revolution and expansion.
State Papers Online
State Papers Online, 1509-1714, is a new online resource for the study of Early Modern Britain and Europe. By reuniting State Papers Domestic and Foreign with the Registers of the Privy Council and State Papers in the British Library, the collection creates a new source for research and teaching in politics, government, social economic and religious history. State Papers Online, 1509-1714 reproduces the original historical manuscripts in facsimile linking each manuscript to its corresponding fully-searchable calendar entry.
