The Finding Articles Online Tutorial created by Maura Matesic and Scott McLaren has been chosen by the Association of College and Research Libraries' Emerging Technologies in Instruction Committee as the Internet Education Project of the Month for January 2004. Samuel Swett Green Exemplary Virtual Reference Award

Scott Reference part-time librarian Irene Tencinger has won the S.S. Green Award from LSSI for best virtual reference transcript. LSSI, Library Systems and Services, is a supplier of live, real-time, Internet reference services. Irene's transcript was selected by a seven-member international panel and was chosen on the basis of quality factors such as accuracy of the answer, user as well as librarian satisfaction, and utility of the answer to the user.
