Transcription Services for Print-Disabled Students

Through the Disability Services department, the York University Libraries provide alternate formats for print-disabled students. Transcription services are provided to students who have been referred to the Libraries by a campus service provider.

Click one of the links below for a brief slide show describing

  • the various alternate formats which Transcription Services can provide for students who require them
  • the many steps - and delays which can occur - in providing alternate format materials
  • how you can help Transcription Services to provide the needed materials in time for classes
