Scott Library Virtual Tour
Reserve materials are high demand items that are placed on short-term loan ranging from 2 hours to 3 days in order that many people can use them. Each of the 5 York libraries has its own Reserve section -- Scott Reserves contains social sciences and humanities course material. There is a large study area with carrels directly in front of the Reserve Desk.
In order to access Reserve materials, you must use the library catalogue. Click on the Reserves link and enter either the name of your instructor or your course number to see what's been placed on Reserve. You will need the call number of the item in order to retrieve it. Reserve materials are returned to the book drop in this area.
