Description: Ovid delivers key medical, nursing, sports science and pharmacy texts from a variety of publishers to clinicians' desktops through the Books@Ovid database. YUL provides access to 71 full text online handbooks, drug guides, nursing care plans, diagnostic tests, clinical procedures and more.
This is a collection of monograph publications from Canadian research institutes, government agencies and university centres working in the area of health and medical research. The publications included are of a specialized clinical or technical nature.

Subject coverage includes Chemistry & chemical engineering, food science, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics & toiletries, biochemistry, biology & biotechnology and toxicology. Includes Knovel Critical Tables (tables covering heat capacity and thermal conductivity, reaction thermodynamics and equilibrium constants, density and compressibility, vaporization and vapor pressure, thermal expansion,transport and flow, and electrical properties data), and Knovel Solvents (database collection of health, safety, and physical property information for over 1100 different solvents). The data is presented in quick reference tables for the most common properties and in detailed individual text files for each solvent.

The RSC eBook Collection is a definitive point of reference for anyone working in the chemical sciences. YUL subscribes to e-books from RSC that were published in 2007. These include digitized pdf files and they are fully searchable.

National Academies Press (NAP) was created by the National Academies to publish the reports issued by the National Academy of Sciences, the National Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Medicine, and the National Research Council. The NAP publishes more than 200 books a year on a wide range of topics in science, engineering, and health, capturing the most authoritative views on important issues in science and health policy
