SportDiscus indexes books, documents, articles and the collection of dissertations and theses of the International Institute for Sport and Human Performance. Citations to books dating back to 1837 and over 2000 journals dating back to 1949.
Indexes general science topics in the life sciences, physical and chemical sciences and medicine. Educational database; sports education, psychology, sports medicine. ERIC comprises two sections: published materials (EJ) in the form of references to articles from over 775 education journals; and non-published materials (ED), including research reports, curriculum/teaching guides, and papers.
Sociological Abstracts provides access to the world's literature in sociology and related disciplines, both theoretical and applied. The database includes abstracts of journal articles selected from over 2500 journals in 30 different languages from about 55 countries. Topics include anthropology, economics, education, medicine, community development, philosophy, demography, political science, and social psychology.
Scopus is a comprehensive international database for scientific, medical, and technical information. It contains approximately 15,000 journal titles from 4,000 publishers, and abstracts going back to 1960. Scopus covers all major peer reviewed STM titles and is integrated with Scirus web search to cover the scientific web. EBM movement combines 4 of the most trusted EBM resources into a single, fully-searchable database. EBMR helps clinicians practice EBM through a combination of resources that provide: systematic reviews of topics; article reviews; and access to definitive controlled trials.
International Institute for Sport and Human Performance
The International Institute for Sport and Human Performance is an extension of the Department of Exercise and Movement Science (EMS) in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oregon. One of the institute's major components is Kinesiology Publications (formerly Microform Publications of Human Movement Studies), a collection of theses and dissertations from the areas of exercise and sports sciences, health, physical education, and dance reaching back to 1947. These documents are also indexed in Sport Discus.

ODESI is an intuitive data portal for researchers, teachers and students. The project targets Statistics Canada datasets, datafiles from Gallup Canada and other polling companies, public-domain files such as the Canadian National Election Surveys and selected files from the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). ThinkFirst is a national non-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of brain and spinal cord injuries. Celebrating over fifteen years in operation, ThinkFirst has been heightening public awareness through education since its inception in 1992, when it was founded by renowned neurosurgeon Dr. Charles Tator. Headquartered in Toronto, it is endorsed by a number of prominent organizations including the Canadian Neurosurgical Society, the Canadian Association of Neuroscience Nurses, the Canadian Congress of Neurological Sciences, and the Canadian Spine Society.
Encyclopedias and Dictionaries
