The Bronfman Business Library has print and electronic resources that will help you create business and marketing plans.

Web Sites

There are a number of Web sites which contain useful guidelines for preparing business and/or marketing plans.

Industry Canada‘s Web site – Just for Businesses – provides guidelines on what businesses need “to know, grow and compete” including starting up a new business, federal incorporation and support.

The Canada Business Network website offers help on how to write a sound business plan, how to conduct market research and access templates and sample business plans. Check out the section of their web site titled Business Planning.

Books 24 X 7 – This database has full-text books that provide both practical advice on preparing and creating business and marketing plans and also gives examples of both.

Marketing Plans

Canada Business Network website Conducting Market Research provides many useful ideas and links to resources including survey and questionnaire design information.
