The business collection includes  books, business journals,  full text databases, and specialized databases accessible in the library only. We have prepared Guides to doing business research . Major Business Databases

ABI/Inform Global : ABI/Inform contains citations and abstracts for over 3000 business and management publications. More than 2000 of these titles are available in full-text or full-image and many of these go back to 1986. This resource incorporates management, industry and company-specific information of both a practical and theoretical nature. Subjects covered include: finance, public administration, marketing, management, economics, taxation, telecommunications, corporate strategies, competitive and product information. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.  This ABI LibGuide will give you insight into the collection and strategies for using this resource effectively.

ABI/Inform Trade and Industry: This related database covers more than 700 publications. It’s designed to help researchers study and compare specific trades and industries, including telecommunications, computing, transportation, construction, petrochemicals, and many others. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

ABI/Inform Global  and Trade & Industry are only two of the suite of databases provided by Proquest. Search ProQuest Business to select all five business databases.

Ad*Access : presents images and information for over 7,000 advertisements printed in U.S. and Canadian newspapers and magazines between 1911 and 1955. Ad*Access contains images available via the Duke University advertising collection and concentrates on five main subject areas: radio, television, transportation, beauty & hygiene, and World War 11.

Bank of Canada Rates and Statistics provides tables of interest rates, bond rates, exchange rates for last ten years, as well as inflation calculator, price indexes etc. There is also a ten year currency converter which allows you to compare currencies between countries.

BigCharts.com This Web site contains US and Canadian company profiles, charts, historical data, performance reports, identifies competitors, etc. Similar to Finance.Yahoo.com Available via the Internet

Bloomberg : Bloomberg is a real-time financial service that provides current and historical data, news and financial analysis of companies, stocks, bonds, and indices, descriptions of companies from various sources including Hoovers, etc. Economic statistics are also available. Restricted to the York University Community and available in the Bronfman Business Library.

This Online Manual developed by Bronfman staff members covers the common commands and basic instruction on how to navigate and get started with Bloomberg

Books 24X7 : Full-text access to books in the following areas: BusinessPro, FinancePro, EngineeringPro, and ITPro. In addition, lengthy summaries of key professional and popular business books are included in ExecSummaries. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Brandchannel.com : sponsored by Intrabrand, this resource provides a global perspective on brands and includes articles, papers and links to marketing industry resources. It also includes regional and global reports on best brands.

Business Monitor Online : Provides country risk, financial markets, industry and company intelligence, analysis, data and forecasts.

Business Patterns: The Canadian Business Patterns contains data that reflects counts of business locations, establishments and enterprises by; employment size ranges, including “indeterminate” (as of December 1997); geography groupings: province/territory, census division, census subdivision, census metropolitan area, census agglomerations and more; and industry using the North American Industry Classification System (tables at the 2, 3, 4 and 6 digit level) Access restrictions:

Business Source Premier : contains full text for 7,000 periodicals and other sources, including scholarly journals, trade and general business magazines, monographs, country economic and industry reports, industry yearbooks, and market research reports. Canada Business This Government of Canada Website provides information on starting a business in Canada, including grants and financing and links to similar provincial websites.

CANSIM : Statistics Canada database containing over 730,000 time series. It is a detailed source of Canadian economic data collected by Statistics Canada and other agencies, including the Bank of Canada. Data available includes but is not limited to the System of National Accounts, labour, manufacturing, finance, and agriculture. CANSIM is also available via ESTAT . CARDonline : Canadian Advertising Rates and Data provides advertising rates and related data available on every significant medium in Canada and on selected International media. Includes newspapers, periodicals, radio stations and networks , television stations, online advertising, billboards, superboards, transit, mobile signage, sports venues, video displays, supermarkets, theatres, etc. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

CBCA Complete : ( ProQuest)Provides interdisciplinary coverage of Canadian topics including the areas of business and current affairs. Offers references, and many full text articles, from Canadian journals, magazines, newspapers, and newswires. Dates of coverage vary by title but many full-text titles available from early or mid-1990s, while citations for many publications available from early 1980s onward.  Available on the network but restricted to the York University community. Search ProQuest Business to select all five business databases.

CFMRC – TSX: Standard and Poor’s Toronto Stock Exchange database provides current and historical data on stocks traded on the TSX. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

CICA Standards & Guidance Collection: (includes CICA Handook) Provides access to the CICA Accounting Handbook, the Public Sector Accounting Handbook, the Assurance Handbook, Management’s Discussion & Analysis, Archived Highlight Summaries, Archived Highlight Releases, the Governance & Risk Management Collection and more. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Cogmap This website provides organization charts for over 7000 companies. May be searched alphabetically by company name, by country or by industry. Some Canadian companies are included.

Communication and Mass Media Complete : A research and reference resource in the communication and mass media fields. CMMC Provides indexing and abstracts for over 350 journals, and selected coverage of over 200 more. This database includes full text for more than 230 journals. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Compustat: (Standard and Poors). is a database of U.S. and Canadian fundamental and market information on more than 30,000 active and inactive publicly held companies. It provides thousands of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows, and supplemental data items. It also contains information on indices, industry segments, banks, market prices, dividends, and earnings. (1950-present). Corporate Social Responsibility : Industry Canada’s Web site provides information on policy and implementation guidelines related to sustainability and related Canadian corporate social responsibility topics. Includes links to related sites.

Crosbie Mergers and Acquisitions in Canada – Available by clicking on Mergers and Acquisitions from the navbar in the Financial Post Advisor database. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

CRSP : Provides standard and derived security data available from the NYSE, AMEX and Nasdaq. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community. CRSP is also available toYork University faculty, PhDs and master students enrolled in business related programs via WRDS.

Damordaran Online: website of Aswath Damodaran, Professor of Finance at the Stern School of Business at New York University. Contains updated tables of data related to the courses he teaches on valuation, portfolio management and applied corporate finance. Includes historical industry beta, along with a wealth of other data.

Datastream: Provides daily pricing and volume information on over 37,000 equities from 57 countries, 12,000 market, stock and bond indices, and 87,000 macroeconomic series from central statistical offices such as Statistics Canada, and sources such as International Financial Statistics and selected OECD series.Also included are over 2,000 daily foreign exchange rates, 1,000 daily and weekly interest rate series, 68,000 fixed income instruments from 23 countries and more than 260 financial and commodity futures and options contracts. Restricted to the York University community and available in the Bronfman Business Library only.

Directory of Directors: Provides information on over 17,000 Canadian directors and executives of Canadian companies who reside in Canada. To access, select Additional Databases from the menu on the left side of the main Financial Post Advisor Screen and then select Directory of Directors. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

DLI (Data Liberation Initiative): Selected Statistics Canada products are available via DLI. This service is supported by the Data Librarian, Walter Giesbrecht and the link leads to a description of DLI and the services available to the York University community.

Doing Business: Benchmarking Business Regulations provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement. The Doing Business indicators are comparable across 175 economies. They indicate the regulatory costs of business and can be used to analyze specific regulations that enhance or constrain investment, productivity, and growth. Published by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation

Doing Business Database from the World Bank : Provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 183 economies including a few cities.

Doing Business Guides prepared by the US Dept of Commerce, this website provides information on doing business with many countries worldwide and includes basic statistics and some market research information.

Dominion Bond Rating Service “provides credit ratings on issuers of commercial paper, bonds, long/short term debt, and preferred shares, as well as asset-backed securities. DBRS also offers industry analysis, rating reports, and ratings indices for issuers and investors throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and Japan.” Limited access available via the Internet.

Data- Insight Web: This database provides access to time series from numerous DRI-WEFA databanks covering economic, financial, and demographic statistics. Geographic coverage, date range, and periodicity vary by series and databank with some series dating back to the 1920s. This database is part of the Global Insight database. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community. Also available to York University faculty, PhDs and master students enrolled in business related programs via WRDS.

EconLit : A comprehensive, indexed bibliography with selected abstracts of the world’s economic literature in the English language, produced by the American Economic Association. It includes coverage of over 400 major journals as well as articles in collective volumes (essays, proceedings, etc.), books, book reviews, dissertations, and working papers licensed from the Cambridge University Press Abstracts of Working Papers in Economics. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

The Economist Historical Archive 1843-2010 : Provides access to the Economist online as a fully searchable digital  collection where articles etc. are provided in PDF format. Includes news, analysis, commentary, editorials, statistics, demographics, letters to the editor, obituaries, and historical photograph, as well as special surveys and supplements on countries and industries.

EDGAR : The US Security and Exchange Commission’s database of public company information including 10k reports for public traded companies. Available via the Internet.

ESTAT includes CANSIM : and Census data. This is an easy to use interface for access to Statistics Canada’s time series. CANSIM is a detailed source of Canadian economic data collected by Statistics Canada and other agencies, including the Bank of Canada. Examples of the data available include the System of National Accounts, Labour, Manufacturing, Finance, and Agriculture. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Euromonitor: see GMID (Global Market Information Database)

Europa World Plus : Online version of the Europa World Year Book and nine regional surveys. Contains news, information and selected data on countries worldwide. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Factiva : Features coverage of approx. 300,000 companies worldwide with information from Reuters, Dow Jones, Hoovers, Dun & Bradstreet and more. Includes nearly 9,000 sources from 118 countries in 22 languages, including more than 120 continuously updated newswires and general business and industry publications like The Economist, Forbes, Fortune, Time, Newsweek, Finanz & Wirtschaft, Satellite News, BusinessWeek. Company information including financial data also provided. Films on Demand: This database contains business and economics videos on a wide range of topics. It’s easy to access and view the films. You can search by title or category.

finance.yahoo: In addition to news and general business information, this Web site contains US and Canadian company profiles, charts, historical data, performance reports, identifies competitors, etc. Available via the Internet

Financial Performance Indicators: Contains key financial ratios and balance sheets for Canadian industries. Based on data for Canadian businesses, derived from Statistics Canada databases of financial statements. Data is divided into ratios for large, medium and small firms. This database is part of the Data Liberation Initiative and is available to members of the York Community for teaching and research purposes only. Available in the Bronfman Business Library.

Financial Post Advisor – see Infomart

Financial Times Historical Archive: This is a great source for studying public affairs and financial history of the last 120 years. Every item printed in the paper, from 1888-2010, can be searched and browsed article by article and page by page. Topics covered include industry, energy, international politics, management, personal finance and arts. See under “Help” for search tips.

Gartner Intraweb :Reports and news that provide a valuable source of global market knowledge for IT and telecom industries. Please note that York University does not subscribe  to ALL Gartner’s research content, please follow the instructions helpguide on how to access the content that is covered in York University’s subscription to Gartner.

Global Economic Monitor : provides daily and monthly commentary on global economic conditions along with direct access to high frequency and forecast data from the World Bank.

Global Financial Database: Global Financial Database aka Global Financial Data primarily provides finance and economics data  with a deep historical backfile and coverage of 200 global markets. Note that individual registration is required. To register, click on the link to the database above, select “New Member”, then “Academic”. Only a first name, last name, and email address are required.

Global Financial Database is comprised of 10 databases as follows: (1) Asset Allocation Database with historical total return indices for stocks, bonds and bills for fifty countries, (2) Commodities database with historical data on 100 different commodities, (3) Economic Database   (4) Equity database  current and historical data series, (5) Fixed income including current and historical markets, (6) Exchange rates going back to 1590, (7) Development Database  with 50 years of data on non-economic variables  (8) Government and Debt  (9) International Trade and (10) National Accounts with extensive data, some going back to the 1800s on GDP and its components.

Provides country analysis, risk and forecasts for 196 countries. Political, economic, regulatory, tax, security and general business conditions are covered in the individual country reports. In addition macroeconomic forecasts are provided and country and sovereign risk ratings are included. Information is updated regularly. Global New Issues: Available within – SDC Platinum – a Thomson Financials database. Global New Issues provides coverage of global equity issues, Eurobonds, U.S. private placements, etc. It is available to York community on a stand-alone workstation in the Bronfman Business Library, opposite to Bloomberg workstation.

Globe Investor : Offers company information for companies listed on the major Canadian and US stock exchanges. Includes stock data, charting capabilities, financial ratios (including beta), and comparable companies. Available via the Internet.

Globe Fund:Mutual fund data, including ability to rank, compare and contrast funds. Available via the Internet.

GMID ( Global Market Information Database): Provides business intelligence on companies, countries, industries, and consumers. Includes demographic, economics and marketing statistics for 205 countries: historic and forecast consumer lifestyle statistics; analysis of consumer lifestyles in 71 countries; market size for more than 300 consumer products; 4500 market research reports; brand shares; and profiles and rankings of 3000 leading consumer goods companies. GMID is published by Euromonitor. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Google Finance In addition to news, this website provides a broad range of information about stocks, mutual funds, public and private companies, including quotes and charts.  Also available are valuation ratios that give you industry and sector comparisons for your company.  Search and display your company.  Then scroll down and click on “more from  Reuters” on the left side of screen, and then click on the Financials tab at the top of the screen.

Hoovers : In-depth coverage of 40,000 companies includes an overview, history, products, competitors, financials, links to SEC filings and added features such as CEOs on Camera. Industry information includes an overview, most viewed companies list, industry family tree and news headlines. In addition there are “pro tools” such as “Target IPO companies”. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

HR Planning : A Government of Canada website that includes information on hiring, retaining, training, managing, payroll & benefits, as well as links to forecasts and trends by occupation and industry as well as health & safety matters.

Human Resources Abstracts : Indexes and abstracts Sage publications related to manpower and human resources development, and related social governmental policy questions. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

IBISWorld China : Includes industry reports for China. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

IBISWorld : Includes Canadian and  U.S. Industry Reports (NAICS), U.S. Industry iExpert Summaries,  Global industry Reports and a U.S. Business Environment Profiles. Specialized Industry Reports includes smaller more niche industries which are harder to find.  Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

IMF eLibrary: This International Monetary Fund database provides full text access to IMF periodicals, books, working papers, studies, and data and statistical tools on mainly economic and financial topics including macroeconomics, globalization, development, trade, and demographics.

Indiastat: Provides India-specific socio-economics and business statistical facts and figures culled from various secondary level authentic sources. NOTE: Once on the site, click on the “IP Login” button in the toolbar near the top of the page to access the statistics.

Industry Canada: This Canadian government website contains information and data on a wide variety of topics, e.g. Economic and Market Research Statistics, Company Directories, Corporate Social Responsibility,  Trade and Investment, and much more.

Industry Statistics Database (UNIDO INDSTAT4): Industat was prepared by  the United Nations Industrial Development Organization. It is time series data from 1990 to 2009, it covers 134 countries, and 151 manufacturing categories and sub-categories.The codes used are the International Standard Industrial Classification of All Economic Activities (ISIC).  Data included are: number of establishments, number of employees, wages and salaries, output, value added, gross fixed capital formation and number of female employees. Restricted to the York University community and available in the Bronfman Business Library only.

Infomart: (formerly Financial Post Advisor) This service provides access to FP services formerly known as Corporate Profiler, Corporate Reports (yellow cards and blue sheets), Dividend Records, Corporate Analyzer, Industry Reports, Predecessor & Defunct Companies, and FP Directory of Directors. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Interactive Advertising Bureau : a nonprofit group dedicated to the growth of the interactive advertising marketplace, of interactive’s share of total marketing spend, and of its members’ share of total marketing spend. Click on the Insights & Research section for statistics and reports.

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS): A joint offering of The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants and Ernst & Young Electronic Publishing Services Inc., Knotia.ca is the service available at York University Libraries to provide access to both the CICA Standards & Guidance collection ( CICA Handbook) and the IFRS infobase. This includes the full-text of the International Accounting Standards Boards International Financial Reporting Standards. Available on the network but restricted to York University Community.

International Monetary Fund IMF data is available in Global Insight database.

Investext Plus :Contains full-text financial reports and forecasts prepared by the world’s leading investment banks and consulting and research firms. Provides access to financial analysis for over 11,000 companies. Useful for competitive analysis, researching industry trends, conducting market research and company studies. American, Canadian and International in scope. USE IE browser only. Please click in the upper right corner to Log Out once you have completed your research to allow others to access the database. Lexis-Nexis Academic : Lexis-Nexis service makes available over 30,000 news, business, and legal information sources. Included are current international newspapers, as well as comprehensive company and industry reports.Information available includes trade and marketing reports, patent details, merger and acquisition analysis, country reports and industry and legal publications. Lexis-Nexis also provides access to numerous reference tools, including biographical information, company directories, quotations and Who’s Who titles. Library Data Services : This Web Site provides links to available data on a wide variety of subjects .  Some of the data is restricted to use by the York University community only.

Marketline Advantage : includes Industry (Datamonitor) reports, country information, company anlayses, case studies and financial deals. It provides SWOT analyses for over 2500 public and private enterprises worldwide, and offers fast and reliable insights of thousands of industry sectors including Porter’s Five Forces analysis, as well as top-level view of the business landscape in some 215 countries. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

VideoTutorial: This online tutorial created by the publishers of Marketline Advantage walks you through how to access Company, Industry, Country and Financial information and data.

Mergent Online (formerly FIS Online) Provides company information and annual reports for Canadian, International, and US companies. Also includes industry reports covering current environment, sector performance, market trends, outlook, etc. for 20 industries. Earnings Estimates and Long-term debt data included. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Mergent Horizon A resource for finding company and industry information, including all companies that are actively traded on the NYSE, AMEX and NASDAQ. It highlights the relationships between a company’s major customers, suppliers and partners and maps companies from the bottom up, based on actual products and services. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Mergent WebReports : This is an archive of the Mergent and Moody’s manuals dating back to the early 1900s. Provides corporate history, description and financial statements. Search is by company name, date and manual type. Historical annual reports for US companies included. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Mergent Archives:  Mergent Archives is an online database providing you with access to a vast, indexed collection of corporate and industry related documents. Containing more than 180,000 documents covering over 100 countries and industries, Mergent Archives uses a reliable and easy to navigate system designed to meet your historical research needs.

Morningstar Direct: Multi-currency research platform that provides performance and holdings analysis of investments. Includes data on closed-end funds, equity ownership, exchange traded funds, hedge funds, market indexes, money market funds, offshore funds, open-end mutual funds, pension/life insurance, stocks and 529 plans. Restricted to the York University Community and available in the Bronfman Business Library.

NADbank: Provides product, retail and lifestyle information based on data derived from newspaper readership surveys of Canada and major urban markets. Includes demographic breakdowns for each category. Available only in the Bronfman Business Library.

Negotech This database is part of Ministry of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada. It provides access to Canadian collective agreements.

NetAdvantage Standard & Poor’s database provides comprehensive information on business and investment information, offering on-line access to popular Standard & Poor’s research products such as Industry Surveys, Stock Reports, Corporation Records, The Register of Corporations, Directors and Executives, The Outlook, Mutual Fund Reports, etc. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

OECD iLibrary Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development e-library offering access to all OECD books, reports, annuals, periodicals, working papers and databases. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Option Metrics Historical prices of options & their associated underlying instruments, implied volatilities, & option sensitivities. Contains data on all US exchange-listed & NASDAQ equities & market indices, as well as all US listed index & equity options. January 1996+. Option Metrics is available to York University faculty, PhDs and master students enrolled in business related programs via WRDS. Oxford Language Dictionaries Online Choose from Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish dictionaries to translate to and from English. Also included are useful phrases, a calendar of holidays and festivals, hints about the language and other useful information. Sometimes sample sentences using the terminology you selected are included.

Print Measurement Bureau (PMB) Use to retrieve data on Canadian consumer patterns and media habits. Can browse by product, activity, or service category options provided. Coverage includes media activity, groceries, travel, apparel, home electronics, leisure, snacks, children’s products, and more. Gives demographic information by province and key cities for individual product/service/activity categories, e.g. answers questions such as which age groups of Canadians are most likely to drink tea? To access data and report generation options, click on the link 2009 and later studies.  York University Libraries does not subscribe to  the 2008 and earlier studies.

PrivCo : Business and financial data on major, non-publicly traded corporations, including family owned, private equity owned, venture backed, and international unlisted companies. PrivCo also provides information on private investors, private M&A deals, and venture capital funding rounds.

Profile Canada: Largely directory information on private companies.  Maybe searched by SIC. To access, select Additional Databases from the menu on the left side of the main Informart screen and then Profile Canada. Available on the network but restricted to York University community.

ProQuest Business : This link allows you to access the 5 preselected ProQuest business databases. Proquest Asian Business: Provides full-text coverage of Asian business and financial information from key international publications including Far Eastern Economic Review, Asiaweek, and many more. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Proquest European Business : Provides full-text, coverage of more than 110 leading titles, including The Economist, Fortune, and European Business Journal. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

PsycINFO : Produced by the American Psychological Association, PsycINFO indexes journal articles, dissertations, reports, books, book chapters, and other scholarly documents. Contains articles, etc related to human resources, management and organizational behaviour topics. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

ReBrand.com : This website identifies companies that have successfully rebranded. Award winners from 2005 to the present are listed.

Retail Council of Canada : This not-for-profit association provides retail facts and figures, retail conditions reports, retail research, retail trade outlooks, technology white papers, Canadian Retailer Magazine articles, links to other resources and more. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community

Scholars Portal Journals: The Ontario Scholars Portal provides a single point of electronic access to published research from a broad range of disciplines Journals published by Academic Press , Berkely Electronic Press, Cambridge University Press, Emerald Publishing, Elsevier Science, Kluwer Academic Publishers, Kluwer Law International, and , Oxford University Press, Project MUSE, Springer-Verlag, and John Wiley & Sons. Scopus : A guide to cited references with coverage in all subject areas with particular strength in the sciences. Coverage is back to 1996. Effective for finding post-1996 cited references for articles. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

SEDAR: is a publicly available database which provides access to full-text Canadian public securities filings. Available via the Internet.

SimplyMap A web-based mapping database that lets users easily create professional looking thematic maps and reports using demographic (Statistics Canada), business and marketing data (Environics) for Canadian geographic areas. In addition Simply Map offers psychographics providing insights into behaviour and mindset of consumers via PRIZM C2 Segmentation. Consult the PRIZM C2 Marketers Handbook for the description and psychographic details of each segment.

Sustainalytics : This database rates companies on environmental, social and governance performance and contains both quantitative and qualitative analysis. It provides research on approximately 2,900 companies around the world from all the major indices that Sustainalytics covers. This includes: 1591 companies on the Developed Markets index, 807 companies on the Emerging Markets index, 241 companies on the TSX Composite Index, and 1013 companies on the US Top 1000. It’s also possible to generate comparative reports to compare company ESG ratings. TaxFind : The Canadian Tax Foundation’s electronic search service. Contains the full text of the Annual Conference Reports, Corporate Management Reports, Canadian Tax Journal/Revue fiscal canadienne, and regional conferences starting with 1991 publications. Tax Notes : Tax Notes features in-depth articles, special reports and commentary analyzing proposed and enacted tax legislation, court decisions, regulations and other administrative guidance and new trends in the United States. Web of Science (ISI): A guide to cited references. Includes Science Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index and Arts & Humanities Citation Index. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

Working in Canada : (formerly Job futures) Canadian government website that gives detailed reports by occupation and geographical location.

World Bank Data : provides download access to over 2,000 indicators from World Bank data sources. Includes economic and social indicators. Browse by country, indicator, topic or view the data catalog.

World Competitiveness Yearbook provides economic and social data which enables the user to compare the competitiveness of countries. Available on the network but restricted to the York University community.

World Development Indicators : A database of the World Bank’s annual compilation of development data.Includes over 800 indicators covering a wide range of topics including health, education, environment, income, finance and economic conditions.Coverage is from 1960 – present.

World Markets :WMRC provides country analysis, risk and forecasts for 196 countries. See entry under Global Insight.

WRDS: Wharton Research Data Service. The following databases are currently available via WRDS: Compustat Global, CRSP, Standard and Poor’s DRI, Dow Jones Averages, ExecuComp, Philadelphia Stock Exchange, and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
