QR (Quick Response) codes are two-dimensional barcodes. They are an easy way of giving information just by having someone hold up a smartphone: you can take someone to a web site, give them contact information, or just show some text.

If you’ve never used QR codes, it’s easy to get started:

Step 1: Put a QR code reader on your smartphone. (See list below.)

Step 2: Run the app and use your phone’s camera to scan the code.

Step 3: See where the QR code takes you!
