Many students have asked for a quiet place in which to study and The Quiet Room provides this environment. The room is located on the upper level to your right at the top of the stairs.

This room is for silent study which means individual study only. Talking, cell phone, laptop or other digital devices are all prohibited. Before entering, please turn your cell phone onto vibrate only and leave the room to take or make calls.

Please use other areas of the library to work in groups, discuss projects, relax etc. You can book group study rooms online.  We ask that you keep conversations to a minimum or speak very quietly in all areas other than the group study rooms, out of consideration for your fellow students who are studying in adjacent areas.

We ask that regardless of where you are in the library that you have consideration for your fellow students and moderate the volume of your discussions. Whenever you are in the library please turn your cell phone to vibrate and leave the library to take or make cell phone calls.
