Elizabeth Watson, Head of Library – watson@yorku.ca

Elizabeth Watson has been Head of the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library since its inception in 2003 and before that was Head of the now defunct Business and Government Publications Branch Library, York University. She has worked in government (Reference and Periodicals Librarian, Legislative Library of Ontario and Head of the Ministry of Social and Community Services) libraries, in academic libraries (formerly Head of the Business Library at the University of Toronto) and in as a partner and researcher in the consulting firm, C.N. Watson & Associates, and as a research in the consulting firm, Giffles and Associates. She has a BA from the University of Western Ontario and a BLS from McGill University. In addition she has taught a number of courses in the Sheridan College Library Technicians program. She is a proponent of service excellence and the quest for innovation in libraries.

David Clink, Circulation/Reserves Supervisor – dclink@yorku.ca

David Clink is the Circulation Coordinator at the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. He also served in this same position in the now defunct Business and Government Publications Library, York University. He is also a published poet. He has a BA from York University.

Sophie Bury, Reference Librarian  – sbury@yorku.ca 

Sophie Bury is a business librarian and Information Literacy Coordinator at the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. Formerly she was the Business/Economics and Special Projects Librarian at Wilfrid Laurier University Library. She has an BA (Hon) from Trinity College, Dublin and an MLIS from University College, Dublin.

William Denton, Web Librarian – wdenton@yorku.ca

William Denton is Web Librarian, York University Libraries and a business reference librarian at the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. He has a BSc in Mathematics from Trinity College, University of Toronto and an MISt from the University of Toronto. Before becoming a librarian he worked for over a decade as a programmer, web developer, and systems administrator. Before coming to York, he worked at the Hospital for Sick Children and the Toronto Public Library. He tries to apply the work of great librarians such as Panizzi, Cutter, Ranganathan, and Lubetzky to today’s chaotic world of online information.

June Hill, Reference Assistant – jhill@yorku.ca

June Hill is a Reference Assistant at the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. June has a BA from the University of Toronto and an MLIS from the University of Western Ontario.  Prior to coming to York, June worked in the Toronto & Richmond Hill Public Libraries, and in corporate and government libraries. June has also worked as an Information Achitect at a major bank and for a web marketing agency.

Xuemei Li,  Business Librarian – lixuemei@yorku.ca

Xuemei Li has an MLIS from University of British Columbia, PhD (Webometrics) and MSc (Computing) from University of Wolverhampton, UK and B.A (Economics) from China.  Xuemei has recently worked at Saint Mary’s University as the Digital Services Librarian.  She has years of international trade experience in China.  Xuemei is an active Webometrics researcher and is also interested in research impact evaluation.

Dat Ngo, Circulation Assistant – datngo@yorku.ca

Dat Ngo is a circulation assistant at the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. He is responsible for maintaining the print and electronic reserve collection as well as supporting the Interlibrary Loans service in this library.

Savitree Puran, Circulation Assistant – spuran@yorku.ca

Savi Puran is a circulation assistant at the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. She is responsible for receiving the new acquisitions and for maintaining the reference collection.

Dennis Skinner, Circulation Assistant – dgskinn@yorku.ca

Dennis Skinner is a circulation assistant in the Peter F. Bronfman Business Library. He is responsible for binding the current periodicals.
