Michael Gorman will be talking about the future of cataloguing in New Orleans next Tuesday morning. This program will be videotaped and made available through the Continuing Professional Education Committee on the American Association of Law Libraries website AALLNET <http://www.aallnet.org/index.asp>. Since I won’t be at the AALL conference this year this is great news: although I’d really like to be there for the Q&A session!
“Michael Gorman …. will offer his insightful views on the future of bibliographic control in a 21st century American context. Those who have had the pleasure of hearing Michael Gorman speak know that he promises an hour of wit, provocative statements, challenges and thoughtful insight into our profession. The audience will have an opportunity for debate during an open question-and-answer period.”
