Two more video series were linked to Internet websites this month: The triumph of life, a 6 video series and, New York, a 5 video series.

The 2001 list of 25 titles added to the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress was checked against library holdings, and 10 of the 25 titles are in SMIL or on order. These films are judged to be culturally, historically or aesthetically" significant motion pictures. Supporting information with this year's list allowed Eirene Landon to upgrade the records for three titles. Of the 330 records added to the National Film Registry since its inception in 1989, SMIL has copies of 216. All National Registry films in SMIL have a note added to the catalogue record, and an added entry to allow patrons to scan all the titles that SMIL holds.
