  1. Students: During September, Saraya and Bib Serv. staff did a variety of weeding and transfer projects. 222 items were weeded from Steacie, 23 weeded from Steacie Reference, 37 weeded from Reference. 174 items were transferred to storage from Reference and Steacie and 70 items were transferred from Gov Docs to Scott or Steacie. With the beginning of September we went from 2 full time students to 1 student for 12 hours per week. 58 items from CIIA were added to the collection and 49 were sent to the National Book Exchange.
  1. Copy Cataloguing. Monograph Acquisitions staff catalogued a total of 2520 items this month.This figure includes the shelf ready from YBP. We have been busy trying to cope with staff absences and cover all the work.
  1. Nancy Hall attended a session to update managers on the new YUSA collective agreement changes and how they affect us. She also attended a session on the new E-Reports system held by FHRS.
  1. Some members of staff attended the Health and Safety training offered as a result of the Work Well Audit. Others will attend as scheduled later in the fall.
