Description


This document outlines the steps to follow when it is necessary to verify
the amount of RAM (memory) available on your computer.





  • Close all open programs and go down to the desktop

  • Locate and then right click on the My Computer icon SRC="/images/Biblio/mycomputer.jpg">

  • In the Systems Properties Tabs window that opens, click on the General tab

  • The amount of RAM or memory will be listed in KB kilobytes, MB
    megabytes, or GB gigabytes (my personal favorite)

  • The information will appear under the section labelled Computer
    SRC="/images/Biblio/memorylisting.jpg">
