Checking System Memory (Windows NT/2000/XP)
Description
This document outlines the steps to follow when it is necessary to verify
the amount of RAM (memory) available on your computer.
- Close all open programs and go down to the desktop
- Locate and then right click on the My Computer icon

- In the Systems Properties Tabs window that opens, click on the General tab

- The amount of RAM or memory will be listed in KB kilobytes, MB
megabytes, or GB gigabytes (my personal favorite) - The information will appear under the section labelled Computer
