When searching an online database you can send your references directly to RefWorks. Each database has a different way of doing this, however, most will have an export option with a marked list. Here is a list of steps to take when importing Proquest references into RefWorks.

1. Select the references that you would like to import into RefWorks by clicking on the box on the left.
2. Click on the ” Export” button.

3.  You will be brought to another screen, click “Continue”.

4.  Click on “View Last Imported Folder” in order to see your results.
