Scott Research Seminars

The Scott Library hosts a variety of drop-in workshops for undergraduate and graduate students in the social sciences and humanities. These sessions are designed to help improve your research skills, and become more comfortable with navigating the world of information. Our workshops cater to a wide variety of needs, whether you are a novice or advanced researcher.

  • All classes are held on the 5th floor of Scott Library in Room 531 unless otherwise indicated.
  • There is no need to register or sign up. Just show up!

  • Citing & Referencing
    The thought of compiling a bibliography does not excite too many people but accurate and complete citing and referencing is a hallmark of respectable academic work. In some cases, professors may also grade your citing and referencing. Learn about proper citing and referencing and get some practice in this hands-on workshop.
