Rosa Orlandini is the Map and GIS Librarian at York University. She is the head of the Map Library and is the Geography liaison librarian.  In this capacity, she manages the library’s geography, map, and geospatial data collections. She provides instruction and research assistance to faculty and students in Geography. She also provides instruction and research assistance to Faculty and students who use geospatial data and maps in their research and courses.

Her research interests include: geographic information literacy, data policy, open data, and the history of ethnicity cartography.   Rosa is the OCUL Map Group representative for York University and serves as the 2nd Vice President of the Association of Canadian Map Libraries and Archives.
