RACER Interlibrary Loan
Before making an online request, please read about the conditions and charges.
York’s interlibrary loan management system allows registered users to search for items in all Ontario university libraries (and other collections) using a single search interface, and to conveniently place borrowing requests for items not found in the York University Libraries’ catalogue.
This virtual union catalogue is named RACER ( Rapid Access to Collections by Electronic Requesting).
To use RACER, York faculty, staff and students must pre-register (two steps: Library User Authentication and RACER End User Registration). To begin the registration process, click on the “End User Registration Form for First Time Users” link below.
(Osgoode faculty and students should go to the Law Library Interlibrary Loans information page, York – Law.)
