Important notice: Many of Statistics Canada’s publications that are available from the Statistics Canada web site can be accessed free of charge from York University Libraries. You can retrieve them through Publications. CANSIM time series data is available free of charge to York University users.

United States
Publications of the United States government are available in both paper and microtext collections. Publications that are available in paper can be found by searching in the Library Catalogue.
The Scott Library has a substantial microtext collection of United States federal publications. The records are available on microcard from 1946 to 1981 and on microfiche from 1982 to the present. These documents CANNOT be found by searching in the the Library Catalogue. Documents published from 1976 to the present can be found by searching in the GPO Catalog. For assistance in locating documents published prior to 1976 please ask at the Scott Reference Desk or consult the United States Government Publications research guide..
Great Britain
The Scott Library has an extensive collection of documents published by the government of Great Britain. Documents available in paper can be found by searching in the Library Catalogue. An extensive collection of historical documents are also available on microcard and microfiche. United Nations
United Nations publications are available in both paper and microtext collections. Publications that are available in paper can be found by searching in the Library Catalogue.

International Organizations
The Scott Library has a substantial collection of publications from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Asian Development Bank, and the International Labour Organization (ILO). The library also has collections from the World Health Organization, Council of Europe, and other international organizations. Documents from these agencies can be found by searching in the Library Catalogue.
