LibX is a browser plugin for Firefox and Internet Explorer that provides direct access to your YUL’s resources.
Interested in using LibX but not sure what it does or how to set it up?
Then please join Tim Knight on Monday, February 25th in the SMIL screening room from 12:00-1:30
and we’ll explore this fantastic new tool.
He’ll install it, look at some configuration details and main features, and talk about some of the possible applications in your day to day work.
A Note from the Emerging Technologies Group:
If the Emerging Technology group shows something at Library Forum, then a following Monday we’ll be back in SMIL for lunch, ready to do the demonstration again (and more slowly or in more depth, as people want) and answer any questions about it.
All library staff are welcome to come by, tell us about something they’ve seen, ask a question, or discuss anything else about new and emerging technology. Nothing formal, really, just a time when interested folks can chat. Do join us.
