Counselling Numbers for Students

The Counselling and Development Centre hours are 9am—4:30pm Monday to Friday for student appointments. If you are concerned about a student and need to discuss the matter urgently, please call our reception desk and ask to speak with an on-call supervisor (416-736-5297). Alternatively, in an emergency situation during our office hours, feel free to direct students or walk over with them to our reception area in N110 Bennett Centre for Student Services.

The Atkinson Counselling and Supervision Centre hours are 9am—7:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:30—4:30pm on Fridays. If you are concerned about an Atkinson student, please consult with the Atkinson Centre during their regular office hours (416-736-5225).

For after hours emergencies, there is a free service provided by the Community Crisis Response Program serving North York and Etobicoke (this service is provided by Saint Elizabeth Health Care). A mobile crisis response team can be called at: 416-498-0043. Service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In addition, if a critical incident occurs that does not necessarily involve counselling, the Office of Student Conduct and Dispute Resolution can be contacted for advice and consultation. The contact person in that office is: Maheen Sayal at extension 22805.
