Ebrary and OCUL Ebook Project Webinar: April 7, 2009

Please consider holding your calendars open for the morning of April 7, 2009 for a webinar hosted by Scholars Portal and featuring presentations and Q&A opportunities on a number of ebook related topics:

*how is Scholars Portal progressing with implementation of the local ISIS ebook platform?
*when will this be available to the schools?
*which readers will be featured?
*what content will be available and when?

Scholars Portal has also invited Leslie Lees of ebrary to provide some information on directions for ebrary and to answer any questions the schools may have about arrangements for interim hosting on ebrary while the OCUL server is in development.

*what content is available on the ebrary servers?
*has all of the CRKN content been loaded?
*who do I get in touch with to activate the new Unity Reader for my school?
*where do I go to get MARC records and usage information?
*if I buy books on ebrary, will I be able to have them on the OCUL platform when that is in place?
*what opportunities does the recent agreement between ebrary and B&T present for my school?

The webinar will be broadcast using the Scholars Portal Connect service. Anyone who will be in Toronto is welcome to attend in person. More details about the exact time and place will be coming soon.
