Disability Services

There is a work-study student (part-time) at the library to assist users with disabilities. Disability Services help is available on:

• Tuesday (4-7 PM)
• Thursday (1-4.30 PM)
• Friday (9.30-1.00 PM)

The student can assist patrons to retrieve material from the stacks for users with limited mobility and for patrons using wheel chairs. They can also assist by reading catalogue entries on York catalogue and writing down call numbers. The student can help the patron to the library exit and to elevators for the library basement. Library Staff are there to provide assistance during other times. Please follow this link for more information on services for library users with disabilities.
