Includes an extensive bibliography of of books and articles with a focus on the history of nurses and nursing in Canada.
The Canadian Association for the History of Nursing is an affiliate group of the Canadian Nurses Association. It promotes scholarship and research as well as the preservation of historical materials. A Guide to Canadian Nursing Archival Resources that identifies nursing resources found in Canadian archives, museums, and professional nursing organizations as well as in private and semiprivate records and collections is available for downloading from the CAHN website.
The Canadian Nursing History Collection is a rich repository of artifacts and documents held by the Canadian Museum of Civilization, the Canadian War Museum and the Library and Archives Canada.
