Tuesday night the Advanced Credit Experience program hosted a dinner to celebrate the successful completion of the fall semester. Students from C.W. Jeffrys and James Cardinal McGuigan secondary schools gathered to receive their certificates. Among these happy folks were two students who have been working at the Libraries.
York University Faculty Association supports students who do well in the ACE program with bursaries toward their tuition at York, and this high-achieving group earned a total of $83, 000 in bursaries.

Jenny, whose co-op placement in was the University Librarians’ Office (pictured with her family and co-op supervisor, Christina Pringi), earned a YUFA bursary.
Priscilla, whose placement was in Resource Sharing (pictured with her family and co-op supervisor, Mary Lehane), was also awarded a bursary.
