New eResource Trial: Benezit Dictionary of Artists

YUL has arranged a trial to the Benezit Dictionary of Artists, which includes over 190,000 entries on artists from antiquity to the present day including  thousands of auction records, museum holdings, and bibliographies.

The Book Citation Index in Web of Science Connects a library’s book collection to new discovery tools giving researchers the ability to identify and access the most relevant books. New eResource trial: PsycTESTS and PsycTHERAPY

We have arranged a trial of the APA’s PsycTESTS and PsycTHERAPY databases.

PsycTESTS is a data repository for the full text of psychological tests and measures as well as a rich resource of structured information about the tests. Included in the database are achievement and aptitude tests, intelligence tests, tests of cognitive functioning, occupational tests and personality tests.

PsycTHERAPY is a new database of therapy demonstration videos. Designed for students, faculty and experienced professionals in psychotherapy and counseling, PsycTHERAPY is the only subscription database of therapy demonstration videos specifically developed to enable viewers to observe how therapists use different techniques and approaches in practice.

New eResource Trial: Henry Stewart Talks

We have arranged a free trial of the Henry Stewart Talks, Marketing and Management Collection.

The Marketing and Management Collection includes over 550 specially prepared audio-visual lectures, organized into 50 series and delivered by a) principals, managers and advisers from the business world and b) academics.  It makes available a wide range of  knowledge on subjects as diverse as Business Continuity and Risk Management, Data Mining, Branding and Product Specialization in Hotels, Retail Marketing, Sport Marketing, Practical Pricing and Revenue Management, Pharmaceutical Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Export Marketing to name just a few series.

Each talk consists of PowerPoint Slides synchronized with narration.  The whole collection consists of various series, each of which comprises 8-15 talks of 15-60 minute duration. There are 50 series (550+ talks) in total.
