Logging in is simpler: Passport York works on library computers

There’s no more need for the FAS (File Access Service) account any more: no-one needs to set it up specially or maybe remember a different password for it. No more FAS! FAS is gone!

Your Passport York account will now let you log in to all the library computers (and all the other computers on campus).

All you need to do to get it working is to log in to Manage My Services and reset your Passport York password.

(See Simplify your access to key York computing resources and services for more information.)

Do not leave your valuables unattended in libraries

Library users are warned to be alert to their surroundings at all times, and to keep a close watch on their belongings. With the Libraries becoming busier at the end of term, thefts are on the rise, and no one can afford to lose their laptop, phone, iPod or purse! Remember:

Take it with You – A thief only needs a few seconds to grab your valuables.
Don’t Rely on Others – Please be considerate, they need to study too.
Report it – See something? Call 416.736.5333 or Ext 33333 or tell Library Staff.
