Accessing Course Reserves

Where you can find course material on reserve?

Faculty -- please click here to place an item on reserve

Reserves are materials with a short loan period placed in a separate location in the library at the request of faculty members for use by York University students. Each of the York University Libraries has a reserve section.

There are no renewals requests or holds on reserve materials.

Scott Library's reserve collection also contains duplicate copies of the Steacie and Bronfman reserve collections. Media and Map reserve collections are also housed with the Scott reserve collection.

Searching for Course Reserves in OMNI

1) Start at the YorkU Libraries’ homepage. Click 'Advanced Search' under the Omni Search bar.

2) Select the 'Course Reservesbutton. Type the course code as a single line with no spaces in the first field (i.e. ORGS5100). Click 'Search'.

3) Click the arrow beside 'Course Instructor' on the left-side of the search results list. Click your professor’s name to show online course reserves for your section.
