We\u2019ve even <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Bronfmanlibrary\/status\/314078973321703426\">tweeted<\/a> about it before; but here\u2019s the nitty gritty. It can help you uncover useful academic sources for business research assignments and projects when used in tandem with the Bronfman Business Library\u2019s wide-ranging suite of subscription sources available from our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/cms\/bbl\/collections\/businessonline\/\">Business Databases A-Z<\/a> web page.<\/p>\n<p>Google Scholar facilitates broad searching of scholarly literature across many disciplines and types of information sources including articles, theses, books and more.<\/p>\n<p>Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of Google Scholar:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tip #1: You can access many York University library resources using the Google Scholar search engine, especially the full-text of scholarly articles, but to make sure this works access Google Scholar through the main search box of the library home page at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/\">http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca<\/a><\/strong> like this:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2010\/11\/Google-Scholar-1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2010\/11\/Google-Scholar-1.jpg\" alt=\"Google Scholar-1\" width=\"528\" height=\"185\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6844568\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2010\/11\/Google-Scholar-1.jpg 528w, https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2010\/11\/Google-Scholar-1-300x105.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 528px) 100vw, 528px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you access Google Scholar this way then links to York library holdings will appear if available, i.e. you\u2019ll get links labeled \u201cFind it @ York\u201d which allow you to click through and get the full-text of articles and other publications.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2010\/11\/Google-Scholar-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2010\/11\/Google-Scholar-2.jpg\" alt=\"google scholar-2\" width=\"131\" height=\"35\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6844569\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<strong>Tip #2: <\/strong><strong>Google Scholar, when accessed as described above, is a very quick and easy way to find a specific scholarly article you are looking for.<\/strong> This is a handy time saver when professors list scholarly articles on reading lists.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s say you want to find this article:<\/p>\n<p>Arend, R.
