However, creating a budget and making your student loans, savings, and bursary money last throughout the year can be a full-time job all on its own!\u00a0 Fortunately, the Bronfman Library is here to help with our new book display called \u2018Getting Money Smart\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/bbl\/staff\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Bronfman Library staff<\/a> have put together an excellent display of books that focus on a variety of issues such as creating a budget, being debt-free by 30, and being debt-free after completing a post-secondary education.\u00a0Here is a sampling of just a few of the books in our Getting Money Smart display:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Record\/3293765\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Debt-Free Graduate: How to Survive College without Going Broke<\/em><\/a> by Murray Baker<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 40px\">This book focuses specifically on the student experience and gives great tips on budgeting for university expenses and creating a realistic plan that will help you graduate with little to no debt.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Record\/3293501\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Debt-Free Spending Plan<\/em><\/a> by JoAnneh Nagler<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 40px\">Learn how to create a budget you can live with, while also learning how to save for some of the luxuries you want in your life!<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Record\/3293550\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Money Book for the Young, Fabulous and Broke<\/em><\/a> by Suze Orman<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 40px\">Suze Orman is a well-known personal finance guru. This book is tailored to younger generations and their specific saving, spending, and budgeting goals.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Record\/3300464\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Smart Women Finish Rich: 9 Steps to Achieving Financial Security and Funding your Dreams<\/em><\/a> by David Bach<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-left: 40px\">Written by another renowned personal finance guru, this book focuses on helping readers achieve their financial goals in 9 easy-to-understand steps.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To find our Getting Money Smart book display, go to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.ca\/maps\/place\/Schulich+School+of+Business\/@43.773377,-79.499149,19z\/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x0:0xd17f0b856362c22a?hl=en\" target=\"_blank\">Bronfman Library (2nd floor of the Schulich Building)<\/a> and head over to the fireplace lounge. You\u2019ll find the display by the newspaper shelves.<\/p>\n<p>We couldn\u2019t fit all of the great gems from our collection into this display, such as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/find\/Search\/Results?lookfor=gail+vaz-oxlade&amp;type=Author&amp;submit=Go\" target=\"_blank\">number of books<\/a> from Gail Vaz-Oxlade, the host of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.slice.ca\/til-debt-do-us-part\/\" target=\"_blank\">Til Debt Do Us Part<\/a>.
