The main floor of the library features 56 desktop workstations, two multifunction copier/printers, two scanners, and one LAS workstation (with dedicated scanner). An active Passport York or guest account is required to log in (guest accounts may be obtained with photo ID).

Laptop Borrowing
Four MacBook Airs are available for borrowing. They can be borrowed from the circulation desk for in-library use only. Ask at the circulation desk for further details.
Basement Lab
The lab in the basement of the Steacie Library contains 34 computers for student use, one instructional computer, two projectors, and whiteboards. The lab is open for public use on most weekdays.
Free Software Access on Your Computer
Most of the software available at the library is also available through the MyApps service. This allows you to run programs like SPSS on your personal computer (with some limitations) even at home.
