Copyright legislation and license agreements govern what can be copied or otherwise \u201cborrowed\u201d of works of creators while respecting their intellectual property rights.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.yorku.ca\/research\/research-ethics\/\">Research Ethics at York University<\/a> \u2013 \u201cYork University is committed to the highest standards of integrity in research. This \u201cacceptable use statement\u201d indicates how these resources can be used while respecting the rights of the providers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.library.yorku.ca\/web\/steacie\/creating-permanent-links-to-york-libraries-resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Creating permanent links to York Libraries Resources<\/a> \u2013 Persistent links (aka permalinks) are stable links that make it easier for the York University community to access OMNI records, e-articles, e-books and other scholarly content. These links facilitate access to subscribed resources via York\u2019s proxy server and thus provide seamless authentication when off-campus.
