Alison Hitchens is Head, Digital Initiatives at the University of Waterloo Library. Previously she was Cataloguing & Metadata Librarian. Alison also teaches Classification & Indexing at the Faculty of Information and Media Studies, Western University.

Tom Johnson, Metadata & Platform Architect, Digital Public Library of America

Tom is Metadata and Platform Architect at the Digital Public Library of America where he works on DPLA’s metadata application profile and ingestion infrastructure, and leads Linked Data initiatives. He is an active Open Source developer and a core maintainer of the RDF.rb suite of public domain software.

Dan Scott, Systems Librarian, Laurentian University

Dan Scott has been a systems librarian at Laurentian University since 2006. His research interests include publishing and consuming structured data on the web and integrating open source software and methodology into academic institutions. Dan is Past-President of the Ontario Library Information Technology Association for 2016.
