Equipment Loans

How borrowing works

1. Become a member – complete our orientation course, and follow our booking and safer space policies.
2. Book equipment – Search the catalogue below and use Book buttons to borrow equipment for up to 7 calendar days.
3. Check your email for confirmation of your booking.
4. Pick up – Bring your valid YU-card on the first day of your loan. Staff will review the equipment with you (~15 min).
5. Use responsibly – Create with curiosity and care.
6. Return on time – Bring the equipment back in person during operating hours by the due date. Staff will inspect it with you (~15 min).
