Support the heart of York University’s learning and research by helping us grow our collections. Your gift ensures students, faculty, and scholars have access to the critical resources they need—now and for years to come.
From newly published books and journals to archival documents, films, and rare manuscripts, every contribution fuels discovery and deepens understanding across disciplines.
Create a Named Collection
With a gift of $25,000 (payable over five years), you can establish a Named Collection Endowment in an area of your choosing. Your impact will be recognized with a personalized digital bookplate in our catalogue—and felt by future generations of learners and researchers.

Donate Archival Materials
Our Clara Thomas Archives & Special Collections welcomes select archival donations that enrich teaching and research. We’re looking for materials such as:
- Personal papers, letters, and diaries
- Photographs, maps, and reports
- Audio/visual recordings and research files
Due to limited space, York University Libraries has placed a pause on in-kind donations and kindly asks that donors provide a list of proposed items for review prior to acceptance.
