In-Person Research Help

The library offers two avenues to in-person research help as outlined below:

We recommend visiting one of our reference service points for drop-in assistance when:

  • You need assistance in a timely way
  • You need research help including:
    • Tips on getting started with research for an assignment
    • Help finding books, articles or other resources
    • Advice on creating an effective search strategy
    • Help with citing information sources properly

In light of COVID-19 consultations with a librarian are only available online (via Zoom). We recommend booking a consultation when:

  • You need in-depth assistance from a subject librarian/research specialist for a research project, assignment or task.
  • Making an appointment ahead of time, subject to librarian availability, suits your needs.
