    Our career resource guide brings together library resources to help you develop your career search skills as well as resources for researching industries and career profiles.
  • Career Research for Business Students
    This guide will help you with research and preparatory work when conducting a job search in the business field utilizing social media platform. This includes information on industries, companies and jobs available on the free web, as well as online and print resources available through the Bronfman Business Library and the Career Development Centre at Schulich School of Business. A section on Investment Banking Careers can be located under the Find Employers tab.
  • Bloomberg Market Concepts Training :  Bloomberg Market Concepts (BMC) is an 8 hour self-paced e-learning course that provides a visual introduction to the financial markets. BMC consists of 4 modules – Economics, Currencies, Fixed Income and Equities – woven together from Bloomberg data, news, analytics and television.  You do not have to complete the course in one session, it is self-paced so you can login and out as often as required over days or weeks. Current York students can do it on the terminals in the library at no cost, if you choose to do it from your own computer a fee will required to access the content.
