Our atlas and book collection is located at the end of the map cabinets toward the back of the Map Library and is arranged by call number. You can use OMNI to search our collections by keyword, subject and title, and narrow your search by location: .
- Circulating books, periodicals and atlases have the location "Map Stacks"
- Large atlases and book have the location of "Scott Maps Oversize"
- Reference books have the location of "Scott Maps Reference"
The Map Library holds most major world atlases and attempts to acquire most national atlases. Thematic and regional atlases are collected on a more selective basis. For more information about our atlas collection, please visit the Maps and Atlases Research Guide.
Our collection also includes gazetteers, geographical dictionaries, bibliographies, and books about cartography and Geographical Information Systems.
