Reference services are offered during all hours of opening. Reference assistance is also available through the online reference form, where answers to brief reference questions are provided. Because of the complex nature of maps, patrons are encouraged to visit the Map Library so that questions can be discussed in person and maps can be viewed.

Cartographic materials in the Map Library may be placed on reserve for student consultation using the online reserves form or by contacting Mary McDowell (marymc@yorku.ca) at 416-736-2100 ext. 33353.

Map displays of reserve items or of materials on special themes are regularly mounted in the library throughout the year.

Maps not held in the collection may be available through interlibrary loan from one of the university map libraries in Ontario. Please consult staff at the Map Library Service Desk.
