Open Access Publishing and Author Rights Consultation
We help authors evaluate the range of publishing options available for their scholarly works. From mega journals to open monographs, we can help you get a complete view of your options.

Our team supports York authors with the review of their publisher agreements. Through the use of our consultation service, we can help you advocate for the specific rights you wish to retain, including the right to publish in open access.

We can also assist with the mediated deposit of publications in YorkSpace. If you need to comply with the requirements of an open access policy, we can help you find an option that works for you.

Have questions? Contact us at opendeposit@yorku.ca.

Scholar Visibility Consultation
We support York researchers in their assessment of the most appropriate strategies and tools for enhancing the visibility of scholarship. Whether you want to learn more about alternative metrics or understand the benefits of registering for an ORCID identifier, we're here to help you surface the impact story you wish to tell about your research.

For more information, contact us at metrics@yorku.ca.

Research Data Management
The Open Scholarship team assists York researchers with identifying the best data management strategies for their projects and support the completion of data management plans to help meet grant funding requirements.

We help faculty and students deposit their data in a repository that meets their data sharing and preservation needs. We also train graduate students on the skills necessary to undertake data management activities on a research project.

Have questions? Contact us at yul_rdm@yorku.ca.

We support your data discovery, reuse, and manipulation needs. Have questions about what data sources are available for your research? Contact us at datalib@yorku.ca.
