Canadian Theatre Review

Canadian Theatre Review was established in 1974 as Canada's only professional theatre journal. It was initiated at York University through the Theatre Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts and has been publishing play scripts, essays, interviews with theatre professionals, events announcements for the community, and news update on the international theatre scene. The Review is a production of CTR Publications which also produces the Canadian Theatre Annual, Canadian Stage and other publications related to theatre production and performance training.

The fonds consists of: typescripts of articles, galleys, art-work, editorials and related material from the CTR; correspondence between the journal and Canadian theatre companies and theatres concerning productions, playbills, programs, press releases, and related material; financial statements and records.
