Annual Competition for the Kent Haworth Archival Research Fellowship:
The staff of the Clara Thomas Archives and Special Collections are pleased to announce that the Faculty of Graduate Studies is accepting applications for the Kent Haworth Archival Research Fellowship. The award honours the contributions of Kent Haworth, University Archivist from 1994 to 2003, to York University and the Canadian archival community.
The fellowship is available to full-time doctoral students in any discipline and from any university who are at the dissertation stage of their studies, and who wish to use the holdings of the Clara Thomas Archives. The award is valued at $1,365.
The holdings of the Clara Thomas Archives are particularly strong in the areas of fine arts (dance, film, music, and arts administration), Canadian literature, Canadian women, labour history, education, and social activism. Inventories and finding aids provide a more detailed overview of the material available to support research, and can be found by clicking on our Holdings page.
