York University’s Schulich School of Business is known for its top business programs, exceptional faculty research contributions and for its strong record of student success after graduation. Over the years, the Schulich School of Business has often been ranked the number one business school in Canada in many highly-regarded business rankings, such as, Financial Times ranking Schulich 1st in 2013 for best EMBA program in Canada and The Economist ranking Schulich 1st in 2013 for top MBA program in Canada (Taking the Lead, 2013). It has also been considered a leading business school among other elite business schools in the world (Taking the Lead, 2013).
One of the many reasons the Schulich School of Business is one of the top ranked business schools in Canada is because of the dedicated and unique faculty members that make Schulich one of the most interactive and dynamic learning environments for students (Spotlight on Research, 2013). Each year, faculty continue to be involved in an array of research projects which are funded by external agencies (Spotlight on Research, 2013). They have a solid track record in obtaining research grants in recognition of their creative and innovative ideas culminating in impressive research publications and quite often winning awards to acknowledge their accomplishments. Faculty are constantly producing quality research by collaborating with other players such as, scholars, industry partners, community members and governmental agencies to generate valuable publications, presentations, workshops, and conferences (Spotlight on Research, 2013).
At Bronfman Business Library, we are celebrating Schulich’s very own exceptional faculty who have had books published in 2012 or 2013. This includes many books and ebooks that cover a multitude of subject areas, such as marketing, management consulting, finance, corporate social responsibility, ethics and much more. Come by and visit our display in the Carol Anne Letheran Fireplace Lounge highlighting selected faculty publications and the publication Spotlight on Research 2013 which provides a comprehensive overview of all faculty research achievements for this year.
