This week has marked a sad transition happening at the Bronfman Business Library. At this point, some of you may be quite familiar with one of our Reference Team, Glenda Lowndes.
Glenda started with us in the role of Reference Assistant May 1st, 2013 and through a stroke of luck, we have managed to hang on to her for one year. Glenda has contributed to so many projects and has brought such warmth to the library that it’s hard to imagine it now without her.
Her many accomplishments have included many blog posts, some of which are regarding the Featured Displays that she worked on in the Fireplace Reading Room. She also helped us revamp, relocate and subsequently maintain the nice display of our Business Bestsellers collection. She has assisted with our Research Guides, including the Business Bestsellers, Business Writing Guide, Company Research Guide and Finding Business Articles guide. She was also instrumental in helping us to both weed and update our Business Reference Collection, which you find to your right when you enter the Bronfman Business Library. Glenda will surely be missed both on and off the desk.
Now, the good news is that while Glenda might be leaving us at Bronfman, she isn’t going far! You can now find her over in the Scott Reference (Research and Collections) Department, where she begins her new adventure today!
