Pessoa Desdobrado Art Exhibit Opening Nov. 6th 4 p.m.

Please join us for the opening of an exciting new art exhibit titled Pessoa Desdobrado (Pessoa Unveiled) works inspired by the work of Fernando Pessoa.

When: Monday, November 6, 4pm
Where: Scott Library, Art Walk, 2nd floor (leading to the Collaboratory)
Join us for:

  • A talk by PhD Student Nárlon Boa Sorte Silva from Western University,
  • A musical performance by Louis Simão
  • A guided tour by exhibit curator Raquel Vilhena

The event will feature welcome remarks from Joy Kirchner, Dean of Libraries, Peter Avery, Associate Dean of Students for the faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies, Luís Barros, Consul General of Portugal in Toronto and Roberta Iannacito-Provenzano, Chair of the Department of Languages, Literatures & Linguistics in the faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies.

The exhibit runs from November 6 –December 6, 2017

This exhibition is a joint initiative between the Portuguese & Luso-Brazilian Studies program, Scott Library, the Walnut Contemporary Gallery and Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua, I. P., through the Coordination of Portuguese Language Teaching in Canada.
